My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zippy lives up to his name and zips right along! He always seems to be the first to try anything! He learned how to get on and off the deck first and loves to leap right off and run through the yard. Don't let his quickness fool you, he adores being snuggled up for some love and gives wonderful kisses! Zippy is 6 weeks old.

LGR is a foster based rescue, which means that our adoptable dogs live in foster homes. Because they live with us, we know the habits, needs, temperament, and level of training of our dogs. To adopt an LGR dog, we ask that you first submit an adoption application (link below). When we receive your application, we will review and respond via email within 7 days. Our adoption process does more than screen applicants; it allows us to work with adopters to properly match our dogs with their forever homes. Each LGR dog is spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, bordatella, DHLPP), heartworm tested (age appropriate), microchipped, and treated with heartworm and flea preventative.
