Cagney is a female Lab mix puppy only 3 months old. She is petite, currently weighing 7 pounds. We estimate Cagney will stay on the small side, growing to perhaps 20-25 pounds as an adult. Cagney is a sweet, yellow, cuddly bundle of love. She is extremely friendly, outgoing, and gets along with anyone and everyone. Cagney is eager to please and adores people. She is not shy and welcomes guests and newcomers easily. Wherever you are, that is where she will want to be. She is very attentive and is always looking to her people for direction. Cagney wants to be included and would make an outstanding family dog. She is one of the most social little pups and appears to be a smart little girl. Cagney is great with other dogs, big and small, great with children and good with cats. She seems to be very well adjusted and happy go lucky. Cagney rides nicely in the car and likes to go places - she is always up for anything. Cagney can be silly and tussle with her puppy friends, or she is also content to drag her toys around and play imaginary games. If nothing is going on, Cagney will flop down at your feet and either quietly stare at you, or else maybe just take a little nap. Cagney is a delightful pup and brings cheer wherever she goes. She is puppy pad/paper trained and well on her way to learning good potty habits. Cagney is very healthy and ready for her new forever home today!

Cagney’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, and DEFLEAED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Cagney is being fostered by Pet Match Foster Volunteers, Jill & Kent and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Cagney at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, JUNE 1st from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA located at 1815 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92627. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CAGNEY, a Newport Beach Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
