Spark's Story...
This adorable 1 1/2 year old cutie is currently living in a foster home, getting a head start on those all important socialization skills, along with learning what it means to be a pam'purr'ed girl. She does well with people of all ages and gets along with the family dog....as far as other kitties though, Spark seems to think she's kitty enough for anyone and doesn't pre'fur' to share her space with other felines. Check out what her foster family has to say about her..."loves to snuggle and rub noses, enjoys the company of adults and kids. Very easy going and happy smaller sized kitty." So, if you have an empty lap in need of warming and only desire one kitty at a time, consider getting to know sweet Spark today! You won't be sorry! :D

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spark, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
