JoJo's Story...
Say hello to Jojo, a lovely 9 1/2 year old sweetie who has called our shelter home for most of her life. She has been an interesting resident in our shelter, who prefers to spend her days perched above our refrigerator- a 'purr'fect place to sit back and observe the day's activity.
We would love to see Jojo have what all animals deserve- an actual home to call her own. Rather than sharing her living quarters with 50+ other cats, she deserves to have a cozy home where she will be the pampered princess. She adores affection and loves to have her long luxurious coat brushed each day. Can you just see Jojo's regal face gracing your window everyday, keeping watch over the neighborhood and waiting for your happy return home?
Don't let Jojo's age discourage you from meeting her. With responsible and routine veterinary care, cats can live well into their upper teens, meaning Jojo could have another decade of love to share with you. :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JoJo, a Muskegon Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
