Rigby's Story...
Rigby is an adorable 1 1/2 year old domestic long hair kitty who is still searching for a home of his very own. Rigby arrived to us as a stray- it was obvious that he had been cast aside, given up and left to fend for himself. Rigby suffered from such a severe case of matting- one can only imagine the discomfort that must have caused him. Thanks to the kindness of a wonderful groomer who donated her services, Rigby is now sporting a much more comfortable 'lion cut'. He has such an endearing 'purr'sonality, wanting to lean in for nuzzles and scratches on the head while people visit near his kennel. Rigby would make a wonderful companion for anyone- they just need to have room in their heart and home for him! Stop in and get to know Rigby today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rigby, a Muskegon Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
