Mia's Story...
Mama Mia!
YES, this is Mia - all 5 lbs of her! She's a tiny, fragile little girl with a 'crushed' front left leg and deformed rear left leg. (Shhh...don't say anything, she doesn't realize she's not perfect physically but we realized it within hours after rescuing her!) Lucy's had her left rear leg surgically repaired and Mia can outrun (and out play) most of our crew!

Mia will NOT be adopted into a home with small children, grandchildren, etc., for her own safety. Mia loves to play, snuggle and gives the best sugars! $200 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Fort Worth Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
