Abby's Story...
Meet Abby. She is a one year old, soon-to-be spayed Chocolate Lab mix. She is great with kids! She loves to play and enjoys lots of attention from her family. She likes being outside and comes in at night and is kenneled to sleep. (Unless it is cold, then she comes indoors.) Her family LOVES her, but her Mom is pregnant and it is high-risk. She has to travel a lot for doctor's appointments and Abby is so lonely. Can anyone offer her a forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Alliance Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
