Griffin's Story...
Hi! My name is Griffin. I am a chocolate lab mix, around a year old, I weigh around 60 lbs. I'm a happy go-lucky boy. I love to be by my person. I am housebroken, and crate trained. I like other dogs and love to play and wrestle. I would enjoy older kids and a big fenced in yard to play in. If you want to take me for walks and teach me lots of good manners I would love a home to call my own. I'm neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $200. If you want to apply to adopt me, please complete an online application at www.rescueofhope.com. Thanks! Woof!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
