Gracie's Story...
Hi! I am Gracie, a 6 year old miniature pinscher/chihuahua, and I am waiting for a home that will spoil me rotten! I am a very sharp little girl who thinks she rules the world, and am quite the little diva! I love to snuggle up with you and rule the roost while you are gone! I am looking for a home that is quieter, preferably with a retired person or couple, where there are no other dogs or children- I'm not fond of either! I don't like to spend much time by myself, and am definitely a companion dog for that special person. I love walks and hanging out on the couch with you, and am looking for a home that understands my bossy nature and loves me anyway! Want to meet me? Go to yahpetrescue.com and submit an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Palatine Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
