Scout (formerly Thelan)'s Story...
Hey everyone! It's me, Scout, 5 year old beagle boy!! ! You probably recognize me, I used to be Thelen, named after one of the guys who drove to pick me up during the Great AZBR Puppy Mill Rescue! That was when I was just a youngin'! I am a little older now but just as cute and just as playful! In fact, my owner was older and had an older dog and I was a little too much for them both. I would like to have a family who will let me sit on their lap when they watch TV and let me sleep on a comfy bed while they are gone. I don't need a crate, I am quite well behaved! I even like cats! All you need to do is fill out an adoption application and ask to meet me! I wanna meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout (formerly Thelan), a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
