Lala's Story...
2 1/2 yrs old Shih Tzu mix female spayed and UTD on shots. Approx 10lb or less. Owner abused as told to us by a reputable friend that rescued her with our encouragement. The owner is mentally ill but it may be a new situation As Lala was well taken care of and even had her nails painted red at one point. She is lively and loving. She was living indoors and said to be housebroken . She likes to play with Zoey her Yorkie room mate and wants to be in your lap! She shows no cowering or sign of abuse. She is a very sweet girl that deserves a wonderful family that will treasure her for the precious pup she is ! This darling girl will be a delight to any family :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lala, a Quinlan Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Quinlan, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Quinlan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quinlan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quinlan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quinlan paves the way for another one to be saved.
