WATCH MY VIDEO! Kanga is a 4 month old, male Chihuahua who currently weighs 3 lbs and should be about 6-7 lbs full grown. He was rescued from a shelter in Kern County after he was discovered all alone, abandoned in a backyard. He looked so helpless and neglected that we just couldn’t help reaching out to him. He has made a speedy recovery and is now looking for a family that will love and care for him.
Kanga is the cutest lil dude and has a nice relaxed energy level. He is sort of a “thinker” and will often just stare up at you as if he is checking in. He likes to play with his toys but is not hyper or too active. He is not vocal and does not bark unless there is a good reason. When he gets tired he will go find his favorite bed and plop himself down for a nap. He likes to go for walks and car rides too. He sleeps quiet through the night and usually does not need to potty during the night. He does well when he needs to be left alone and is agreeable and easy. He is just a little doll of a dog.
Kanga has been living with other dogs in his foster home and gets along with everyone both big and small. He is very well socialized with people and has a relaxed chill type way about him when meeting strangers. He has had lots of exposure and socialization while recovering in our rescue and even went to a high school event as the mascot for our rescue. He sat so quietly and politely in a little doggie purse and just watched everyone without making the slightest fuss or peep. He is a fun easy companion that you can take anywhere.
Kanga is already neutered, micro chipped , dewormed and up to date on his vaccinations and rabies. If you would like to meet Kanga please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999.
