Roger's Story...
Roger? Roger! Yep, that’s my name. Just walk into my room here at MaxFund and say my name out loud, and I’ll whip my head around to find out who is talking to me. It won’t be hard to spot me among all the other cats.

I’m an older gentleman with a quiet demeanor. I’m past all that silly kitten stuff. Now my priorities are finding a sunny location to flop in, or a warm lap where I can curl up and be loved. I’m sweet and gentle, and adore getting attention from my humans. I get along well with other cats and even dogs too. I’d probably enjoy being around nice children as well. All in all, I’m pretty perfect for a cat.

I had a home previously, but I was given up due to allergies. Not my allergies, their allergies. Oh well. I’m sure there are lots of people out there who aren’t allergic to me. Are you one of them? I sure hope so!

You might notice that my fur has been shaved in some areas. I was pretty matted when I came in. But I do enjoy being brushed. If you’d like, we could test it out. Why don’t you bring a brush with you when you come to visit me? I guarantee you’ll have me purring in no time. And when you’re done brushing me, maybe you could sneak me a cat treat!

So if you are searching for a calm, cuddly cat who doesn’t come with a lot of baggage or drama, I think I’d be your perfect choice. Or if you’re searching for a handsome, intelligent cat who loves attention, I’m still your perfect choice. Come visit me and I’ll be listening for you to call my name. Roger, over and out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roger, a Denver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
