Frisky in PA's Info...
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Hello everybody, my name is Frisky and I am an almost 10 year old male, buff, beautiful, friendly, happy cocker! I am looking for a new home as there is a new baby in the house. I like little toddlers but they do make me nervous. Older children I am great with and love to play with them!
I am extricably smart, well trained and obedient! I know sit, down, paw (I’ll give you both paws for a treat!), stay, wait, crate, leave it, come, K (for okay!). If you tell me crate - I will run right to my crate and sit there, and wait till you say K - then I will come running to you! If you tell me to leave it - as you are putting my food bowl down, I will wait till you say K, same thing if you put a treat in front of my on the floor - I will not take it till you say K! I love to ride in the car and am a fabulous passenger. Going for walks is another favorite of mine and I am trusted off leash, but please not near busy roads - always safety first! And I love to swim! I even have my own life jacket! I take treats very gently and if you say "nice", I can be even gentler than what I already am! I will amaze you just how smart I am. I love to play with my squeaky toys and can entertain myself quite well with them.
When playing with you, I will run around the house, come back to you and run around again and then leap right into your lap and cover you with kisses! Also with paws on your shoulders for a quick hug and kiss then off I go running around the house! What a great time we will have! I get along with other dogs, a little reserved at first but I do get along with them. Got cats? No problem - I get along with them too! I am totally housebroken and if you hang a bell on your door knob - I will ring it to let you know I need to go out!
I sleep in my crate at night and will greet you with a morning kiss when you wake up! I don’t bark much unless it’s something that I don’t know what it is or I’m excited - I’m not an over barker and you just need to tell me - Shhh Frisky - and I’ll quiet right up!
Are you looking for your own personal Frisky boy? Then look no further than me. Take a look at my pictures - am I not the handsomest boy you ever saw?!! If you’d like a smart, friendly, handsome Frisky boy in your life - fill out that adoption application - you’ll be glad you did!

The medical and custodial expenses of the numerous Cocker Spaniels in our care are tremendous. With the current economy, more and more dogs with urgent and serious medical issues are being abandoned. While we are committed to providing the best possible care for these luckless, voiceless dogs, the increased costs are beginning to take their toll on our ability to do so. What this means is that we are able to rescue fewer dogs, and in turn that means more dogs may be euthanized every day. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our dogs, please consider making a donation. We know that money is tight everywhere, but even just a few dollars from many people adds up. Think of those dogs still in shelters or on the streets – those without warm beds, full bellies, and the knowledge that they are safe. For just the cost of a few cups of coffee, you can make a tremendous in the life of one of our needy furballs. For other ways to donate, please scroll to the bottom of our main web page. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and your donations are entirely tax deductible.
