Payton's Story...
Payton is a beautiful Husky/Shepherd blend, who came to New Hope after being found as a stray with a litter of pups. All of Payton's pups have moved on to their forever homes, and now Payton is ready to find hers! Payton is approximately 55lbs, and her approximate date of birth is Jan. 2011. She is a sweet, quiet and fun loving girl, who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys cruising the dog park. Payton also does well on leash walks. She is a cuddler, enjoys hanging out with her people on the couch, and of course, is always happy to be on the receiving end of a good belly rub! Payton also enjoys the outdoors, will need daily walks or outings, and would do best with a family who enjoys the same. Apply to meet Payton today! She's patiently waiting to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Payton, a Saskatoon Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
