Bobby's Story...
Hey there! My name is Bobby. If you're looking for a furry friend with a unique look, consider meeting me! My tail isn't a normal sized tail - it is about half the size of standard cat tail. I'm a spunky boy that enjoys playing with people. But my absolute favorite pastime is falling asleep in a cozy lap. Yup, I'm a lap cat! When I see volunteers sit down, I beeline right for their lap. I'm mild-mannered, so I would make a great companion for anyone - a family just starting out to someone ready to retire. My needs aren't complicated. As long as I have fresh food and water daily, unconditional love, and a coveted lap, I'm a happy kitty.

Bobby is current on his vaccinations, parasite-free, neutered, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. You can find Bobby at Petsmart located at 57 Route 23 South in Wayne, NJ. We have scheduled adoption hours on Fridays from 6 pm - 9 pm, Saturdays from 11 am - 6 pm, and on Sundays from 12 am - 6 pm. For more information or to make a special appointment to adopt, please call Donna at 201-873-7533 or e-mail startkayne@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobby, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
