My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for stopping to visit with me. I'm a warm, fun-loving little girl who is looking for a special family that would like to take me home.
My foster Mom says I'm a real 'gem'. I like to cuddle lots and go for rides in the car. I recently had surgery on both my eyes for a condition called cherry eye, and I am now fully recovered. There is no permanent damage to my eyes and my doctor says I did just great!
I’m really kind of boring sometimes . . . I don’t chew on shoes or remotes or anything else I come across. I just like to be in whatever room my foster Mom is in so I can keep her company. I also like to snuggle up on the couch with her when she watches her favorite TV programs. I guess you can just call me a big couch potato!!
I know my name and I'm a pretty good listener too. Foster Mom always tells me what a good girl I am. I get so excited when it’s time to eat that I just jump and jump and jump like I’m on a trampoline. But she’s been trying to teach me to sit patiently until she looks at me and says “OK” and I’m doing that almost all the time now.
I love to go outside in the backyard, even if it’s raining or snowing - that doesn’t bother me at all; I just like to walk around sometimes to see if there’s anything new out there.
I’m really a pretty quiet little girl; if it wasn’t for the tags on my collar, foster Mom says she wouldn’t even know I was there!
I currently have a 10 year old Dalmatian brother, and we get along pretty good too (although he does get a little upset with me when I beat him to his special spot on the couch).
I'm so glad you found me here . . . wouldn't you also like to find me in your home??
