Lady Mittens of the Courtyard's Story...
Lady MIttens was little more than a kitten herself when she had kittens this spring. She is very petite and very sweet! Likes to have you down on the floor at her level so she can butt heads with you, and really likes being sweet-talked. She needs a stable, calm home without dogs or young children. She has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, had the usual flea and worm treatments, and had a negative combo test (no feline aids or leukemia). Campus Cats adopts to indoor-only homes and requires the adopter to bring a cat carrier in order to transport their new family member home. We do not have a set adoption fee, but do ask for a donation to help us continue to help cats like Lady Mittens and her kittens.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Mittens of the Courtyard, a Wakinsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakinsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wakinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
