Lady's Story...
Lady is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 9-25-07 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date.

This very pretty young lady is around 7 years old, is Large in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, her owner had this to add, she's a sweet & loving young lady, very alert, well mannered, very happy & playful, did well around other dogs, children, enjoys rides in the car and is a special girl that is in need of a family to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Lady's mouth, pulling on her ears and tail, holding her paw and giving her a little kiss and hug. Lady appeared to past the test with no problems, she's SO SAD at the shelter. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Lady to play and be safe in. We feel she may make an GREAT outstanding companion and SUPER sweet fun loving family member. If you wish, Veronica can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Lady. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Grass Valley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
