Big Red's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

Big Red's Story...
Big Red is an adorable orange boy that loves attention and is super affectionate. He was found roaming outside at the shelter. He did test positive for feline Leukemia. This means he needs to be an only kitty or with other positive kitties. He is not sick and you would have no idea he was even positive when you meet him. He is just a typical kitty. Leukemia means that he could have a shortened life. He will live out his life in a cage at the shelter unless someone adopts him. Call for more details on him to see if you are a good match. We are guessing he is between 2-3 years.

He looks cutier in person. He kept trying to come out of his cage for attention during his photo shoot. He just wanted attention. I also think he was trying to smile for the camera!

Adoption donation is $50. He is neutered, current on shots and wormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Big Red, a Acme Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
