OSKAR's Story...
We are now accepting aplications for puppies..we have 6 in our rescue. Mom is a St. Bernard mix who had a very sad life in Manitoba. She had her puppies on April 23/2013. Her puppies cannot leave mom till at least 8 weeks, however we would like potential adopters to start bonding with them once they are 4 weeks old. There are 3 females and 3 males, and AIMEE has been adopted, but is still with her mom and siblings until the end of June.. Mom is a sweet gentle girl and is a great mom to her babies. The puppies are growing fast and are doing fantastic. We require an application to adopt these precious pups as well as references. No SAFE AT LAST DOG RESCUE DOG is allowed to be a yard dog, or an outside dog. Once the pups are 6 months of age they will be spayed and or neutered. safe_at_last_dog_rescue@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OSKAR, a Chilliwack St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chilliwack, or seeking a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chilliwack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chilliwack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chilliwack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chilliwack paves the way for another one to be saved.
