Jace's Story...
IDGSR WELCOMES JACE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!

Jace and his Buddy Jancer were dumped by their previous owners on a very remote mountain road.
These two made their way to the home of a couple of senior angels who took them in and sought out a rescue

to take them. IDGSR stepped up to take these two very hungry pups and get them the medical attention they need.

Jace is approx. 12-16 weeks old, All pups get 3 meals a day here so that no one ever goes hungry here.

Jace is a little on the shy side and we will be working with him on holding and touch and socializing him with people and other dogs.

Jace is all puppy and will try his new parents patience as he grows up into adulthood. Every puppy needs to be taught their boundaries and

need their new parents to show them how to be the best dog ever.

Everyone loves a well trained dog and at IDGSR we expect our adopters to step up to the plate and educate their dog just as they do their human

children. Education/Training is all about what you put into it, it strengthens your bond with your dog because ultimately your dog wants to please you.

I've never met anyone who was ashamed of their well trained dog, on the contrary, well trained dogs are beloved members of the family and people want and enjoy

being around their new family member.

If you would like to make Jace a new member of your family please apply with this rescue.

Each dog's adoption donation varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY)

$250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG)

$200 for any dog 3-7 years (ADULT)

$150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR)

All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing & monthly preventative and have been spayed or neutered.

Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

***Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our four-legged friends***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jace, a Greeneville German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
