Ben's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Ben's Story...
Ben is a beautiful, sweet and loving three-year-old Saint Bernard with a gentle, playful demeanor. Ben's foster mom describes him as "a wonderful dog who cannot get enough love from the humans and has not once shown any issues with other dogs." Ben was rescued along with his brother, Charlie and Ben currently lives with two other dogs. Ben is starting to learn basic obedience and manners but he will need continued training as he didn't get much training before coming to Save The Giants. Ben is a smart boy who is eager to please, and his foster family is working to get some weight on him and get him ready for his forever family. Ben is likely to chase cats but can probably learn to control that impulse in a household with a dog-savvy cat. If you're looking for a "happy-go-lucky" dog with a great personality, Ben might be just who you're looking for!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Broomfield St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Broomfield, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Broomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
