Luke's Story...
Luke is an adorable Min Pin/Jack Russell mix who is full of energy and love. He is currently living in foster home with another dog, but would prefer a home without cats. He is housebroken, crate trained and knows his basic commands. A home with a large fenced in yard would be ideal for Luke, allowing him to do what he loves to do most...RUN! He would also make a great running partner for someone in need of a companion to exercise with. If you are interested in meeting with Luke please call the shelter at 231.773.8689 to set up a visit and take a moment to fill out an application on line at www.muskegonhumanesociety.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Muskegon Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
