Woof! Woof! Look how cute I am! I know my cuteness is what you are going to love! My name is Casey and I am totally the cutest dog ever! My most favorite thing to do is play in the water!! That is right! I love the hose, the baby pool, the puddles, and the river. I also love to play with toys and chew on bones. I like to sleep late and play outside. The best thing though is getting my tummy rubbed. I am so excited that I will be getting a forever home soon. I know that we will have a great time together. So go fast and fill out an adoption application so that we can enjoy the summer by the water. Hugs and licks! Casey

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Richmond Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
