Once in awhile a puppy comes in with a story that breaks everyone's hearts . . . but we are happy to report that Faith's story has transformed into one of love and triumph!! While visiting a high-kill shelter a kind person was told of a puppy that had come in with such a severe case of mange, the decision had been made to euthanize her. But after this person saw the puppy crouched in the corner of a crate waiting for her "turn" -- all alone, head hanging and looking as if all hope was lost -- this saintly person became determined to turn her fate around. They named her Faith, pulled her to safety, gave her excellent vet care and more TLC than she'd ever imagined possible and, just several short weeks later, Faith has blossomed into a full-blown diva!!! She no longer hangs her head -- she holds it high and proud!! Her coat is shiny and growing back lush and thick, and she's become a social butterfly who loves all the children and other puppies at her foster home (just check out the video of her happy, bouncy playfulness!!). We have made the promise to Faith to find her a special one-of-a-kind adopter who will open their heart to this girl and appreciate her story as a permanent daily reminder that the best is yet to come! Faith is about 10 weeks old, she's 110% healthy, and we think she'll be a medium sized girl fully grown.
