Milo's Story...
Milo is a energetic 50 lb lab mix who was pulled from a local shelter. He is slightly hesitant when meeting new people but with a little patience warms up quickly. He loves attention and is a world class cuddler. He plays great with other dogs and children, ignores cats, and enjoys car rides, long walks and stuffed chew toys. He's crate-trained and housebroken. If you would like to meet this sweet dog and give him the stable home he deserves email info@forrescue.net. Milo is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Marietta Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
