Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe is a 10 week old (May6) laid back girl. She is happiest when surrounded by her foster family of people, dogs and cats. She gets along with other dogs great and respects her foster brother and sister cats. Her foster mom is working on potty training. She walks well on a leash and will make a wonderful companion for a family! Her fur is soft as cotton and she resembles a little polar bear which was how she got her name PB that then got blurred into Phoebe. If you have questions please email daykahn@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Baton Rouge Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
