Hi Friends!
I’m Sawyer, a handsome and appreciative Bichon mix of three. I’m a great little guy who is relaxed, mellow, handsome, sweet, sleek…and lucky. Lucky because I’m safe and in a loving home once again.
You see one day, not very long ago, my family had to move away. They took me to the shelter – and left me there. They hadn’t groomed me in a long time so I looked pretty scraggly. No one came to meet me and I wondered if I would ever have a home of my own again. Then I became a FurKid and I knew things were changing for the better!
My foster mom and dad are really nice and kind -- so I started to relax. And I kept on relaxing! I’m one of the most relaxed guys you will ever meet! And while I’m relaxed, I’m no ‘couch potato.’ I enjoy spending time with my doggy foster brothers and sisters (I especially like to play with my bichon foster sister!) Within days (or was it hours?) I showed Mom and Dad how I get along with everyone - and every dog (even the ones Mom calls ‘annoying’.) She says that I’m very social - and that is due to my sweet nature!
Dad says I love my walks and rides in the car, love to cuddle on the couch and watch a good movie. Before we forget, he wants you to know that I’m housebroken, cock my head to the side when I’m listening to you and that I’m also very entertaining. Why I can stand on my back two legs and balance. Now how many bichons do you know that can do that? (I also love to lay on my back with all four legs in the air (and that is a very bichonly thing to do!)
So if you are looking for a sweet, mellow, healthy and handsome boy, then I’m the one you will want to meet. I will be a wonderful and loving companion if you will be one back!
