My story

Hi Everyone,
I'm a darling and dainty little furkid named Abby – and I’m delighted to meet you. I’m a little over 5 pounds of cuteness with big brown eyes and a very gentle nature - and I am 8 months old, I mean young.
Although I am a puppy, I am not your 'typical puppy' at all! I'm independent and a little quirky. I prefer to be with adults rather than children and even little dogs seem to scare me. My foster Mom says I could sit in her lap (or Dad's) all day and night long which is also pretty unusual for a puppy.
Although I am gaining weight, I am still pretty small for my age. You see I had this thing called pneumonia (Mom says it's too big word for a little girl like me to even say) and I was given the wrong antibiotics. Now I have the right ones and I am much better but am still trying to regain my strength. I'm also a finicky eater. I eat dry food only (Dad says that means I'll have really good and strong teeth!) and I eat at night when no one is watching me. See why my Aunties say I'm as quirky as I am cute?
So if you are looking for a little lap dog who is very cute, smart and independent, if you are patient and kind and willing to help me 'blossom', and if you have no children or other dogs, then please ask for me.
