My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful 6 year old Truman was found tied to a bush outside a high kill shelter. Can you imagine that? He is a beautiful low key boy and weighs about 65 lbs. Truman is in a foster home now and knows that he is safe. He is perfect with everyone, loves his doggy toys, knows sit, walks good on a leash, is housetrained and crate trained. His foster mom says that Truman is a sweet, sweet boy! He enjoys human interaction more than dog interaction. He is very low maintenance and likes to lay on the couch and snooze, or sit outside and just enjoy life. He gets along great with other dogs, but he would do best as an only dog, or at least other low energy dogs. Hyper dogs annoy him. He would probably be just fine with the kitties though. Truman loves to be rubbed and petted. He gets excited to see his people, but mainly in his tail - he doesn’t jump. He is such a joy to have around. He has not had any destructive behaviors at all in his foster home. He is a very sweet boy and would make a great first pet for someone. He doesn’t require much time or effort. Truman is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped.
