Hi everyone! My name is Rudy! I’m a 5 or 6 years old English Bulldog that come into rescue not too long ago.
There is nothing I won't do for a head scratch or bum scratch and any scratch in between. And there's no need to be stingy, keep on going with the belly scratch.
I just love to be the center of attention and will try to talk you into giving me as many scratches as I can get.... So many opportunities for scratches! My foster mom says I’m just a wiggly butt that loves to give kisses. She seems to think that I walk so well on a leash, she just goes on and on about how I’m such a good boy!
I am also completely housebroken! However, they say I have a slight case of hip dysplasia, but I don’t let it slow me down! The vet says so long as I stay on the slender side I won’t need any medication for it for quite some time!
I love to cuddle with my foster mom on the couch – you know it’s the best place to get those scratches!
I get along well with my foster brother. However, I don’t like to share my toys with him. I can get possessive of my ball at times, but my foster mom is teaching me drop it, but I’m still a work in progress. She also says I’m pretty fast when I’m playing and sometimes accidently mouth, therefore she recommends a home with older children who know to move their hands fast when they play with me. But I don’t mean any harm, I just really love to play and I get excited.
I wasn’t a big fan of my crate when I came into rescue, but now I realize that I’m not going to be locked up in it forever, and have even been caught laying in there on my dog bed catching up on my zzz’s. I’m also not a big fan of car rides; I just can’t seem to settle in.
My foster mom isn’t a big fan of cats, so she’s not sure if I like them or not. But I seem to like all of the other animals she has at her house. If you have room in your heart for a little guy like me, go ahead and send in your application. I'm ready to give you a lifetime of love.
All adopters must live in Ohio, or within a 2 hour driving distance of the border.
