Bess's Story...
Hi my name is Bess! I am a 8 mth old female Lab mix. HNH rescued me from a high kill shelter. I get along great with all dogs and cats (as long as cats don't run away from me) I am crate trained and enjoy chew toys. I am not a good fit for anyone with small children. I am good with older children and I LOVE the water so if you have a pool or want a friend to take hiking or to the beach I am our Pup! Please fill out an application at www.hopenheroes.com. I am currently being fostered in Reseda, CA. Adoption/Donation fee and home inspection are required. You can also email Lorna@hopenheroes.com or Tamara@hopenheroes.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bess, a Torrance Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
