Tiki's Story...
Tiki is a 1 year old male Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix. He's not a big guy, but makes up for my small size with a big fun personality and lots of energy! He loves to play fetch and can jump really high to catch a ball. He is great with other dogs and would really enjoy having a playmate to run around with. He doesn't mind cats but would be better in a home without them. He loves to give kisses. He would be great in a home with a nice fenced yard to play and run around in.

If you'd like to meet this dog, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.sarocks.org/adopt or visit us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/sarocksorg.

The $85 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, rabies tag, heartworm test, and 1st month's flea/tick & heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiki, a San Antonio Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
