Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is a sweet pit bull terrier that showed up as a stray one day, playing with some kids. He is super sweet, and only about a year old. He is a "pocket pit"- low to the ground and smaller in size. Ziggy is very affectionate and loving, and enjoys giving kisses and pretending he is a lap dog! he likes to be next to you and is a very happy boy. He seems to do well in a crate, and is potty trained. He has no issues with food aggression- anyone can put their hands in his mouth or bowl. He walks ok on a leash but is strong. He is good with children and other dogs- loose and wiggly upon introductions. Since we got him we have had him neutered and updated on vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Livermore Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
