Cricket's Story...
Cricket is a 5 yr old Pekingese who loves to sit on your lap, go on car rides, and give kisses! She is a fluffy, pretty girl who's looking for a nice forever family to be a part of. She's absolutely precious, incredibly sweet, and oh-so loving. Cricket is just a little munchkin, only 12 lbs, and she's mellow and calm, yet still playful!

Cricket came to us with an ear issue (hematoma) but that was repaired on 01/04/13 and she is now fully recovered. She's a healthy girl, spayed and up to date on shots. She's also completely housetrained and is being fostered in a home with other dogs. Cricket would do great with another easy-going pal, but would also be happy to be your one and only. Her favorite things are cuddling and going on walks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Los Angeles Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
