Sonny's Story...
Hi! My name is Sonny. My right ear looks a bit deformed, but it's only because I had a hematoma. My ear is fine now. Besides, I think it adds to my charm! I love being around people. I can't get enough human affection. Head and cheek scratches are the best. One of my favorite pastimes is playing. I go nuts over wand toys that allow me to interact with my human friends. My ideal furever home will provide me with tons of love and fresh meals daily.

Sonny is current on his vaccinations, parasite-free, neutered, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. You can find Sonny at Petsmart located at 57 Route 23 South in Wayne, NJ. We have scheduled adoption hours on Fridays from 6 pm - 9 pm, Saturdays from 11 am - 6 pm, and on Sundays from 12 am - 6 pm. For more information or to make a special appointment to adopt, please call Donna at 201-873-7533 or e-mail startkayne@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
