Peanut's Story...
Hi, Peanut here. I’m a VERY sweet, VERT loveable 2 year old boy weighting in at 6 pounds. I love to hang with my person and I’m up to doing whatever you want to do. I get along great with my K9 foster siblings. I would like a nice fenced yard where I can play as I do like to play. Peanut is up to date on all shots, on heart worm preventative, heart worm negative, microchiped, and neutered. Peanut’s adoption fee is $225.00.WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Bridgeton Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
