Liza's Story...
Liza was rescued from a high kill shelter at just a few weeks old. We had to bottle her for a few weeks so she is very well socialized and friendly. She is a sweet playful kitten and shares her foster home with other cats and even dogs and she get along with everyone. She is a strong healthy little kitten of 3 months now, she is spayed and had her shots and is ready for her forever home. She can be quite naughty thought, her new trick is to escape and set her friends free too, which keeps her foster Mom on her toes. Liza's adoption fee is $75, contact us for an application form if you would like to meet this special girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liza, a Largo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Largo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
