My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Booker - he is a 6 yr old Retriever Mix. His foster mom says his a genuine JOY to be around!! Booker is a wonderful animal and definitely has successful training in him. He knows the following commands and obeys each; sit, come, fetch, etc. He is a happy tail wagging boy who loves to have a toy! He Gets along very well with other dogs and loves to greet people when they come in the house, hoping for petting and some attention. He will "wait" on command and not go to the visitor until told. He has no problem with a wheelchair moving around in the house either.

So far at his foster home, he has had no accidents in the house. He knows when he needs to go out during the day and he also sleeps through the night. His first night at his foster home, he tried to convince his foster mom to let him sleep in her bed. They had a brief discussion that he is a whole lot of dog to be on the bed and Booker agreed!

He enjoys being inside and he likes it outside when neighbor dogs are barking, Booker will go over to the fence and sniff along with his foster siblings and there is no barking back. Booker can bark though, there was a skunk near by, and oh the smell, and he definitely barked to say "ewwww - that stinks"!

Booker is a sweet boy and is looking for his forever family! Could that be you?
