Burt's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Burt's Story...
Burt (born March 2013) is a huge boy at almost 16 pounds, but don't let his size fool you. He is a young & sweet boy that talks a lot, and prefers to have people to himself. With enough space he will tolerate other cats, but he does not like dogs as they seem to scare him. Burt can be shy to start with, but is very food motivated, so treats and wet food always get his attention.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Burt, a Edmond Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
