Farley's Story...
Oh..what fun you can have with Farley! This 3.5 year old, 15 lb Maltipoo has energy for an early morning hike, a walk to just look at the colors of spring or a before-school game in the backyard with the kids. Once Farley gets his morning exercise, he's good to go and will settle down nicely. Farley has had lots of change recently and just needs an understanding guardian who knows that with hugs and positive consistency, Farley will bond and respond extremely well to training and socialization. He loves...and enjoys... gentle children and other dogs. We feel young and very active & vocal kids might overwhelm the gentle nature of this exceptional guy. He would love nothing more than a family who is present and would love to be included in their activities. It's so important for any dog to be's a very important gift we give them. In that spirit, we 'd love Farley to be included in social activities like walking, picnics in the park and positive reinforcement training classes to bring out the best in this smart guy who would always love to please. Farley is a non-shedding pup and would therefore require periodic grooming to keep his coat healthy and matt-free.

Farley will be transported to Denver right around 5/18. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farley, a Boulder Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
