Sadie's Story...
Sadie is 100% socialized! ;). She's being fostered in a busy household with children, other dogs, and a cat. She enjoys her rides to Lowe's with the family and often stops by Starbucks on the way home! Sadie's playmates right now are a Great Pyr and a Lab, both very large dogs. At 6.7 pounds, Sadie holds her own and snuggles up with them when she winds down. She enjoys playing in the backyard (under supervision) and is practicing her house training skills. In fact, she's learning a lot at this age -- leash training and crate training. She's a beautiful baby girl and is ready to go to a FORever home. To complete an application, learn more about her, and meet her - please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Sadie is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Homewood Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
