Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Crystal
Sex: Female
Breed: Husky / Boxer mix
Age: 4 months (approx. DOB: 02/04/13)
Level of blindness: Can see fine.
Cause of eye issues: She may have CEA (Collie Eye Anomaly) but genetic testing is required. If she does have CEA, since she has an increase in vascular tortuosity, there might be an increased chance she can have a retinal hemorrhage episode. Right now she can see fine.
Health issues: None.
Weight: 11 pounds (and growing)
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes
Good with kids: Yes
Currently being fostered in: TN
*BDRA will transport the dog a reasonable distance, to an approved adopter, at no extra cost, even if out of state.
Information:
4/29/13: We've had Crystal for 4 days now and she is a typical puppy! Loves to play with toys, kids, people, other dogs and tries to play with the cats. We are working on crate training and we have progress already. She is housebroken. In just the 4 days we've had her, there has been just one accident in the house.
