Noah's Story...
Noah is an award-winning hiker and a world-class lover! This Benji lookalike not only loves to hike...it seems to fill his soul with joy. And he is more than happy to transfer his love of the outdoors and life in general to his favorite people. A huge smile and an even bigger wag always greets his family...that family can be human or canine - he treasures both! Noah, at 56 lbs and about 1.5 years old is nothing but warm and friendly...and so well-intentioned. His desire to please and to see his person's delight with him...knows no bounds. It is because of these great traits that we feel Noah will be very easy to train. We recommend positive reinforcement training classes to honor Noah's naturally great temperament. He was never taught the skills of leash-walking but just in days, we're starting to see improvement....he's so excited with himself when he gets things right. Due to Noah's size and tendency to want to show his love...we feel he should only be placed with children 12+. Once his socialization skills are fine-tuned and training classes are completed, we feel he can interact with all age groups. It also seems that Noah is past any destructive behaviors in the home...and with a few reminders...we feel confident that he'll be trustworthy. Noah is an extremely light seasonal shedder (just a hair or 2 on a black sweater) and therefore wouldn't be suggested for those who suffer from severe allergies. Periodic baths and brushing are suggested to keep Noah's coat shed-free and healthy.
Noah is being transported to Denver on 6/1. Applications are currently being accepted for this friendly and super-loving companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noah, a Boulder Border Terrier/Airedale Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Airedale Terrier for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Border Terrier/Airedale Terrier dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Airedale Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier/Airedale Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
