Ginny's Story...
Ginny s a beautiful lady. She came to us December 2005 when she was rescued from a hoarder. She will definitely be the first to let you know that she deserves love and attention by batting her eyes at you. And those eyes.....she'll steal your heart. She's a darling who exudes grace and class. She was born in December of 2004, so she is mature and calm, ready to be a loving family member. Ginny has a waived adoption fee because is over 3 yrs old. All of ours cats have been Feline leukemia and feline aids tested negative, spayed or neutered, vaccinated with FVRCP and FELV, rabies vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.
The first step to adopting any feline is to fill out an application at http://acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt/cat-adoption/application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Carencro Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carencro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carencro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carencro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carencro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carencro paves the way for another one to be saved.
