Farah's Story...
Hi! My name is Farah. I'm a petite girl with a huge vocabulary. I love talking to people. My vocal range is impressive with a smorgasbord of sounds. Sometimes I make volunteers laugh when I belt out a new meep or chirp unfamiliar to their ears. And the best part is, when you talk to me, I'll talk back. We can carry on conversation together! I love being around people so much. My favorite pastime is snuggling next to a person so I can fall asleep purring. Sometimes I'll venture for a lap, but the majority of the time I'll sleep next to you. I want nothing more in the world to cuddle! I enjoy playing with stuffed mice infused with catnip. Other than that, I'm mild-mannered. The one thing in the universe that I wish for more than anything is a forever home I can call my own - complete with someone who provides me with unconditional love! Can you fulfill my wish?

Farah is current on her vaccinations, parasite-free, spayed, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. If you are interested in Farah, please call Donna at (201) 873-8533 or email startkayne@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farah, a Elmwood Park Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
