Collin's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Collin's Story...
Colin is an energetic 2 year old male BC. Colin enjoys spending the day outside watching the people and cars go by. He will focuses intently on them until they are out of sight. He doesn't have a high toy drive but you can sometime get him to fetch a ball then its back to people and car watching. Colin must have been an inside dog at one time. He is fully house trained and crate trained.

Collin knows sit and lay down. He is good with other dogs and children. Colin should not go to a home with cats or birds. When inside Colin enjoys being petted and laying next to his person. Colin would make a great family dog, running partner or agility partner. One minor issue we are working on is Colin has a fear of stairs. He may of had a bad experience in the past. We will be working on them one step at a time.
you will need to submit the completed application found at www.nebraskabordercollierescue.com in order to be considered to adopt this dog

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collin, a Bellevue Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
