Cledus's Story...
***Cledus is a courtesy listing and is not in the care of the AHS. All statements of interest will go directly to Cledus's current owners***

Cledus is a 5 yr. old bluetick hound and boxer mix, about 85lbs. He is a big sweet dog who is looking for a forever home. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is neutered. He needs lots of room to run and would do best on a home with lots of acreage or a very large fenced yard. He does not work well in a small yard. He is a big dog that needs room. He can be an escape artist, so good fencing or acreage is a must. He likes to play outside on nice days, and lounge inside on rainy days. He must sleep indoors. He is very loyal and does best when there are people around; he loves running in the woods, taking long walks, laying in the sun, etc. He has never been aggressive or dominating but does best with medium and bigger sized dogs. He enjoys the company of another dog. He is ok with outdoor cats, not sure about indoor ones. He loves children and is so patient with them. He knows basic commands but can use some refreshing with come and stay. He has an allergy to corn so a food without corn or meal based product is best for his skin. He will be a wonderful companion to any family that has the time and energy to give him what he needs. If you think you Cledus is the right addition to your family, please complete a statement of interest at under the adoptable dogs tab.
