Bianca's Story...
My name is Bianca and I am a 4 month old pure bred Golden Retriever. After a couple of months, my family decided that a puppy was not a good idea and asked AGK for help! I'm very sweet, loving and I adore my golden foster brother. Im working on house manners too. I need a stay at home or work at home parent and another dog in the family to show me the ropes. I'm looking forward to my forever home soon!

If interested adopting in Bianca, please visit our website at .http://www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org/new_england.html. If all that looks good, please move forward and fill out an application on our Adopt A Golden page.

NOTE: Adopt A Golden Knoxville rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area. These dogs are fostered in private homes in East Tennessee. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north on a USDA transport

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bianca, a Roanoke Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Roanoke, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Roanoke.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roanoke already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roanoke breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roanoke paves the way for another one to be saved.
